Bacara Resort & Spa Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty

A couple of years ago I worked closely with bride, Nicole, on her Romantic/Vintage themed wedding. The wedding was at the gorgeous Santa Barbara Bacara Resort and Spa and it was planned out with an abundance of detail by the bride and her coordinator, Mary at VP Events. Together we designed all of her custom stationary to tie the whole event together (Save the Dates, Invitation Sets, Custom Monogram, Table names, Menus, Place Cards, Programs, Signs for the dessert & candy bar, Thank You Cards).

The wedding was later on was featured on the blog, Style Me Pretty. Here are some of the beautiful pictures captured by Elizabeth Messina.

Here is the beautiful couple, Nicole and Gerry.

Sweet Soiree Bridal Show with Stellar J Productions

On Sunday, July 21st, we had the pleasure of collaborating with wedding planner extraordinaire, Jessica Geiszler of Stellar J Productions on her booth at the Sweet Soiree Bridal Show, which was held at The Dana on Mission Bay.

Her theme for the booth was Purple Mountains Majesty, so of course purple was every where....and it's still one of the favorite wedding color schemes this year. We created the sample invitations and matching stationary to go with her vision.

The invitation set included our Vintage Floral design invitations mounted onto shimmery silver cardstock, then mounted onto a plum color cardstock pocket enclosure. RSVP card and Enclosure card were tucked into the bottom pocket and the enclosure was sealed with a lavender satin ribbon, then a grosgrain ribbon on top with a cute little rhinestone belt buckle. We added the silver and the rhinestones in the design so that it would match the silver and the bling that would be on the table at the event. In addition to the invites, we also designed, magnet save the dates, that matched the Vintage floral design, menus, table numbers, place cards, favor tags, thank you cards, wine labels, and candy jar labels. To order any of these items, check out our website at www.invitationparlour.com or contact us at info@invitationparlour to discuss your event design and we can help turn your vision into realty.

Jessica found cute purple frames for the place cards and we printed the name cards to go in it.

Here is the beautiful table

Custom artwork that matched the theme was the guest sign-in. Artwork by Evelyn PDV.

This succulent wall art along with all the other beautiful florals were designed by Design Works Custom Floral Designs.

Linens, napkin rings, dinnerware, etc were by Patty's Linen Rentals.

This is what the entire booth looked like. It was a awesome event and we had a great time working with Jessica creating the perfect wedding look.

Custom Letterpressed Wedding Invitations - Pink Hearts Design

Nicole & Gerry had a very clear vision of what they wanted their wedding stationary to look like. Nicole wanted everything to look soft and vintagy and also elegant and classy. She also wanted to incorporate  hearts, butterflies, stars and the color of pink and cappuccino brown.

We started with the Save the Dates. The design I came up with gave a little preview of what the invitation would look like. We used a heart design, with the swirls & butterflies and the letterpressing added to the vintage feel. A pink bow was added to the design, since we were going to add big bows to the wedding invitation set. And everything was mounted onto a cappuccino brown shimmery card stock.

A custom heart monogram was designed for Nicole & Gerry, and it was a main feature to the invitation set and used throughout the designs. The invitation was letterpressed, and mounted onto the cappuccino brown shimmery card stock, which was then all mounted onto the shimmery off white pocket enclosures.

Here are the rest of the details of the wedding invitation set. One swarovski crystal was added to each invitation, to add a touch of bling. The pocket enclosures were all wrapped with a pink bow and placed into matching shimmery invitation boxes that matched the pocket enclosures. Underneath the invitations was crinkle kraft paper and 2 Ghirardelli chocolates, that had a custom monogram wrapper around them. All the rsvp cards, direction card & rsvp envelope were clipped with a heart paper clip. Custom monogram tags were attached to the boxes and the to mail the boxes we wrapped all of them in kraft paper added custom address labels, and a custom rubber stamp with Nicole & Gerry's heart logo was made.

Rubber stamp
It was one of the most beautiful & detailed invitation we have designed so far. Remember to check back for the rest of the wedding accessories, the matching menus, placecards, signs, table numbers and thank you cards.

Kim and Daniel {Real Wedding}

On February 5th, 2012 Kim and Daniel were married, at the San Diego Marina aboard a yacht. They kept the wedding small and intimate, with only about 30 guests, but the details for the wedding were not overlooked, and everything was elegant and beautifully done.

Kim's wedding colors were tiffany blue, silver and off white. We chose to print the invitations on a shimmery pearl-like paper to give it that extra elegant touch. Other items she had were custom address labels, place cards, menus and thank you cards. You can order this Classic Peonies Design at www.invitationparlour.com, call us at 951-241-0417 or email at info@invitationparlour.com for any questions.

Some of the other details Kim had, that I loved, were the cute bow ties on the favor boxes and the cute flower pins that were placed on the lady's place cards, made by Pink Clouds Designs

Here's some more details and pictures from the wedding. Photos were taken by Eric Kieu Photography

Congratulations Kim and Daniel, may your life together be filled with love and happiness!!
